Maryland slots referendum

In a per curiam order dated July 20, 2010, the Maryland Court of Appeals ordered that the slots vote will appear on the November ballot.  The Court's order does not explain its decision, but summarily resolved the issues which had been the subject of a protracted legal battle in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County over proposed slots at Arundel Mills Mall.
