Maryland closes restaurants, gyms and theaters

By Executive Order dated March 16, 2020, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan ordered all restaurants, bars, theaters, and fitness centers (gyms, health clubs, health spas, aquatic centers, and self-defense schools) in the State of Maryland to close to the general public at 5 p.m.  Restaurants are permitted to remain open for the purposes of serving food via drive throughs and carryout.  Licensed child care centers within fitness centers are unaffected.

The Governor issued three other Executive Orders.  All of the recent Executive Orders can be found on the Governor's webpage.

The State of Maryland has created a webpage dedicated to information and resources related to coronavirus impact on business.
